Datacap Systems Software Download

Datacap software downloaded from this website is fully functional for a period of 20 days after the software is first used. The software may be purchased by procuring a license file and activating the software. This licensing and activation process personalizes the installed software and removes the time restriction allowing it to run on the licensed computer for an unlimited time.

Caution: Live data may be lost if licensing and activation is not completed before the end of the evaluation period. Due to PCI and PABP security requirements, Datacap will not be able to recover, nor will it be responsible for, any data lost if an evaluation period expires before licensing and activation.

If you decide to purchase the downloaded software, the next step is to contact Datacap via phone (215-997-8989) or e-mail (datacap@dcap.com) to get a personalized license file. The license file will be emailed to you with instructions on how to install. Payment may be required prior to obtaining the license file; your Datacap representative will discuss that with you.

Once you have received and installed your personalized license file, the final step is to activate the software on that computer. Activation can be done by phone, email or via the web.

Activate Software Via E-Mail

You may obtain an activation code via email once you have installed your license file. Start the software and click the activate button in the dialog box. A new dialog will be presented which contain three items of information which you should include in you email activation request. The items to include are:

Serial Number
Session Code
Machine ID

Send your activation info to: activate@dcap.com.
An email reply will be sent within 2 minutes with your activation code.

Activate Software Via Phone

You may obtain an activation code via phone during Datacap's normal business hours at 215-997-8989 (M-F, 8:30-5:30 Eastern). Before you call, start the software and click the activate button in the dialog box. A new dialog will be presented which contain three items of information which you will need to provide to get the activation code.
