For information on supported devices please see our PC based POS solutions page.

Release notes for v1.23

  • Change to Ingenico receive routine which handles unexpected offline responses from RBA. This should greatly reduce instances of "NAK Error from PinPad" and "Unsuccessful Obtaining SerialNo From PinPad" errors.
  • Change to cancel logic which prevents an approved response from being partially overwritten by a canceled response in some cases.
  • Change to IDTECH Augusta which handles new 42 message (TRY_ICC_AGAIN) introduced in firmware v1.02.006 (aka 1.026).
  • Support is added for a GetPhoneNumber TranCode to collect a customer’s phone number using the PIN pad device. The request XML is the same as the GetSignature XML except that the TranCode value is “GetPhoneNumber”. For Verifone pads, the prompt on the pad is “ENTER PHONE”. For Ingenico pads, the prompt on the pad is “Enter Home Phone Number”. The prompt is fixed in the PIN pad. Ten digits must be entered or Cancel pressed. The phone number entered is returned in the XML tag. The US EMV test app can exercise this feature by pressing the “G-PN” button.
  • Support is added for a GetID TranCode to collect a customer’s ID number using the PIN pad device. The request XML is the same as the GetSignature XML except that the TranCode value is “GetID”. For Verifone pads, the prompt on the pad is “ENTER ID NUMBER”. For Ingenico pads, the prompt on the pad is “Please Enter ID Number”. The prompt is fixed in the PIN pad. One to ten digits must be entered or Cancel pressed. The ID number entered is returned in the XML tag. The US EMV test app can exercise this feature by pressing the “G-ID” button.
