Please follow the steps below to complete your installation of NETePay EVO US EMV (FD-RC) Host - RRH 5.07.35 Rental

Step 1 - Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

dsiEMVUS® 1.73

Release date: 10/16/2023

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay supporting a variety of EMV-enabled hardware options.

For information on supported devices please see our Compatible devices page.

Release notes for v1.73

  • A new XML tag is supported to modify the Ingenico contactless delay. This new tag must be sent as part of an EMVParamDownload. The tag is <ContactlessDelay>. Valid values are 7-25. The value is tenths of a second. The default is 7 for .7 seconds. We’ve been told that a value of 17 helps the Lane/7000 from reading contactless when it should not.
  • For Pax, GetSignature values for <SignMaximumX> and <SignMaximumY> are corrected. Also, the points are relative to the upper left corner (0,0).
  • For Pax IM30, if the CVM Support setting from NETePay (or Hosted Bridge) is set to None, dsiEMVUS will use the ICS configuration for an attended device with No CVM. This will cause the IM30 not to prompt for a PIN. EMV Support should be set to Credit Only. The Terminal Type value included in EMV transactions will have a value of 25 for an attended device.
  • For the IDTech VP6800, the EMV configuration is typically 3C which includes support for CVM PIN and None. If the CVM Support setting from NETePay (or Hosted Bridge) is set to None, dsiEMVUS will use the ICS configuration 4C where the CVM setting is None. This will cause the VP6800 not to prompt for a PIN. EMV Support should be set to Credit Only.
  • For PAX devices, sending a Cancel from the POS at the TIP prompt now correctly cancels the transaction.

  • An EMV card brand certification was completed for Ingenico Tetra devices. These include the Lane/3000, 5000, 7000 and 8000. It also includes the Move/3500, Move/5000 and Link/2500. The latest client controls (dsiPDCX and dsiEMVUS) support these devices with clear card data, with Ingenico TDES DUKPT PAN encryption and with Ingenico OnGuard PAN encryption.
  • EMV Support is added for China Union Pay.

NETePay will not allow transactions with OnGuard encryption to be processed unless “TransArmor Validated P2PE using Ingenico OnGuard” is enabled at PSCS/NETePay.
