Please follow the steps below to complete your installation of NETePay Global Canadian Portico Host EMV - GCP 5.07.35

Step 1 - Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

DSIEMVClientX™ 1.35

Release date: 02/05/2021

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for Canadian EMV transactions.

Support is added to return clear expiration date information when requested from the ISV. Normally, the Canadian Client control does not return any expiration date information. With this release, the ISV can send in tag <ReturnClearExpDate>Allow</ReturnClearExpDate> as part of a transaction request. DSIEMVClientX will then return XML tags <ExpDateMonth> and <ExpDateYear>. Example …<ExpDateMonth>12</ExpDateMonth> <ExpDateYear>25</ExpDateYear>

This same feature is already supported in the Tran US EMV Client. It will be included in the next release of dsiEMVUS.
