NETePay XML 4.0 is a family of PA-DSS compliant Windows applications which are designed to process credit, debit and EBT transactions using the Internet for communications to a processing provider. Separate versions of NETePay are available for most North American processing providers that support Internet payments.

Each NETePay XML 4.0 is available in two models: SL (Single Lane) and ML (Multi Lane).

NETePay XML 4.0 SL (single lane) is designed and licensed to process payment requests from a single, standalone workstation (or point of sale).

NETePay XML 4.0 ML (multiple lane) is designed and licensed to process payments from multiple workstations (POS terminals) operating on a LAN.

Dial backup is supported in NETePay XML 4.0 when equipped with a DialLink modem. Contact Datacap for more information on DialLink.

Important!

Additional Gets are required for a successful NETePay XML 4.0 installation.

For TERMINAL type NETePay, Get the following programs and install in the order listed. Always restart when instructed!

For Windows 2000 & XP Only!
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows 2000 or XP. (If a version of SQL was previously installed on the PC, a matching or newer version should be installed)

For Windows Vista and Server 2008 Only!
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft SQL Express 2005 to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows Vista Business Edition or Windows Server 2008.

For Windows Vista and Windows 7/8 Pro (32 bit)
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft SQL Express 2008 to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows 7/8 and Windows Vista Business Edition.

For Windows 7/8 Pro (64 Bit)
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft SQL Express 2008 to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows 7/8 (64 bit).

2. DSIClient

This installs the required ActiveX control that integrated software uses to communicate with NETePay. It also installs a simple transaction application for test purposes.

3. EPay Administrator

This installs an application that allows viewing/sorting and reporting on transaction activity recorded in NETePay database. It also performs batch functions for editing and settlement.

4. NETePay

Selected from the Get menu below, this installs the NETePay payment server software.

For HOST type NETePay, Get the following programs and install in the order listed. Always restart when instructed!

1. DSIClient

This installs the required ActiveX control that integrated software uses to communicate with NETePay. It also installs a simple transaction application for test purposes.

2. NETePay

Selected from the Get menu below, this installs the NETePay payment server software.

Note: Fifth Third (Host) requires MSDE or SQLExpress and should be installed with the components listed above for a TERMINAL based network.

Windows 8 Note: For NETePay 4.0 (legacy) installations on Windows 8 OS, the DSIPrepEight install package should be installed before NETePay for proper functionality
