NETePay 5.0 is a family of Windows applications which are designed to process credit, debit and EBT transactions using the Internet for communications to a processing provider. Separate versions of NETePay are available for most North American processing providers that support Internet payments. Versions are also available for Canadian EMV processing.

NETePay 5.0 is configured with merchant parameters using Datacap's PSCS (Payment System Configuration Server) rather than a setup window in the application. You can access PSCS on the Internet at www.dsipscs.com.

NETePay 5.0 installations are priced and configured per lane (Lane is a paypoint at which a credit card can be swiped/accepted). Authorized Datacap Resellers can configure and purchase NETePay directly through PSCS. Datacap Resellers that don't yet have Log-In information, should contact Datacap Systems for a PSCS Username and Password.

All NETePay 5.0 releases are compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7 Pro. All Windows Vista and Windows 7 Pro versions of NETePay 5.0 are 32 bit.

Dial backup is supported in most NETePay 5.0 when equipped with a DialLink modem. Contact Datacap for more information on DialLink.

For Windows 2000 & XP Only!
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows 2000 or XP.

For Windows Vista and Server 2008 Only!
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft SQL Express 2005 to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows Vista Business Edition or Windows Server 2008.

For Windows Vista and Windows 7 Pro (32 bit)
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft SQL Express 2008 to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows 7 and Windows Vista Business Edition.

For Windows 7 Pro (64 Bit)
This installs a personalized instance of the Microsoft SQL Express 2008 to provide database services to NETePay installed on Windows 7 (64 bit).

2. DSIClient

This installs the required ActiveX control that integrated software uses to communicate with NETePay. It also installs a simple transaction application for test purposes. If you will be using a NETePay EMV version, see note below for DSIEMVClientX.

3. EPay Administrator

This installs an application that allows viewing/sorting and reporting on transaction activity recorded in NETePay database. It also performs batch functions for editing and settlement.

4. NETePay

Selected from the "Get" menu below, this installs the NETePay payment server software.

For HOST type NETePay, Get the following programs and install in the order listed. Always restart when instructed!

EMV Note: If you are using a NETePay 5.0 that supports EMV (chip cards), you must use DSIEMVClientX instead of DSIClientX. First, install the database engine that corresponds with your equipment (top), and then download and install DSIEMVClientX. DSIEMVClientX provides control for an attached EMV compliant PIN pad.
